The name of this local with its flirty and somewhat noisy dining room gives sense to a cuisine of well-resolved dishes with modern touches which is accompanied by an appreciated bodega. The daily menu, different every week, offers four first and same others second dishes, altogether enough to set a well-structured meal. Our choice, a purple salad of beets and carrots on an escarole base, well-seasoned and decorated with the mayonnaise and the beet broth; sumptuous and unmarked by the oil and vinegar. To continue, squid tentacles (“rejos”) with cuttlefish spaghetti made with onions, tomato, red wine and paprika; tasty dish although not quite well assembled (surely the whole would improve if cooking the pasta with the squids broth). For dessert, a toffee cheesecake (of “dulce de leche”) with chocolate cream, very fresh and not cloying albeit the chocolate turned out a bit strong for this type of cake.
